Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Lip Filler and a Lip Flip?
Lip Filler: A dermal filler is injected into the lips to add volume, shape, and structure. The result is fuller, plumper lips with enhanced definition. This option is ideal if you’re looking for noticeably fuller lips or want to improve symmetry and contour. While clinical studies show results can last 12–15 months, most patients notice a gradual decline in volume around the 6-month mark and choose to refresh their filler between 7–8 months on average.
Lip Flip: A Lip Flip involves injecting a small amount of Botox into the muscle around the upper lip. This relaxes the muscle just enough to subtly flip the upper lip outward, creating the appearance of a fuller lip without adding volume. It’s a great option if you want a natural-looking enhancement, especially if your upper lip tends to disappear when you smile. Results typically last around 4-8 weeks.
