PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP)

Reveal Your Inner Glow

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) facial procedure uses your blood to trick your body into the healing process that uniquely repairs the skin. This type of treatment harnesses the body’s healing properties to induce phenomenal skin rejuvenation.

It is a great way to improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and restore volume and skin elasticity.

How is Plasma for a PRP Facial Acquired?

The plasma used during a PRP facial is derived from the patient’s blood source. When being treated, the patient will have their blood drawn typically from the arm. Once this is done, the treatment specialist will place the blood into a centrifuge machine for about 10 minutes where the plasma is separated from the blood.

How Does The Treatment Work?

PRP facial treatments are a combination of PRP therapy and micro-needling. Once the PRP is extracted, the skin will undergo micro-needling. This process creates small superficial wounds across the face. During the micro-needling part of the facial, the PRP is applied to the skin. This will begin the rapid rejuvenation process that improves the skin, revealing a more supple, youthful complexion.

Benefits of a PRP Treatment

There are several benefits to receiving a PRP facial treatment. The most notable benefits are the improvement in the skin’s tone and texture. Another advantage is how the treatment process prompts rapid skin healing, collagen production, and new cell growth. This combination works together to help the patient potentially take years off their appearance, helping them look more youthful and radiant.

Who Can Benefit from a PRP Treatment?

If you are someone who suffers with fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots, uneven skin tone or texture, or dull skin, you can benefit from a PRP treatment. Rejuvenation of the overall complexion, helps patients achieve a youthful, radiant glow.

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)

Boost Your Body's Healing Power

PRF is Platelet Rich Fibrin. Blood platelets have hundreds of growth factors that are important in the healing process. The growth factors in platelets and blood communicate with the stem cells in an area to stimulate the regeneration of tissue.

PRF is processed differently than PRP so that it has more than just platelets in PRF. The additional cells are WBC, cytokines, and Mesenchymal Stem Cells.

The blood clotting takes place normally and the fibrin in the clot acts like a mesh to hold the platelets in the area injected for an extended period of time. This is similar to our normal clotting process in the body. Then the growth factors are released from the platelets over a 7-10 day process. This slow release of growth factors results in more healing and regeneration.

Under Eye Area Treatment with PRF

The under eye area, dark hollows, or eye bags are difficult areas to treat. PRP has been used for years to treat this area. PRF is showing better results than PRP because the PRF releases those growth factors over time – resulting in better regeneration of collagen, elastin, and blood flow.

  • It thickens the skin under the eye.
  • It improves fine lines and wrinkles
  • It improves color and discoloration.
  • PRP and PRF is the only thing that improves discoloration.
  • It fills out lost volume.

We combine treatments under the eyes to get the results you want. PRF is recommended in almost all cases. Filler can be used after PRF to get a perfect correction but only after the skin has been thickened.
