How is Plasma for a PRP Facial Acquired?
The plasma used during a PRP facial is derived from the patient’s blood source. When being treated, the patient will have their blood drawn typically from the arm. Once this is done, the treatment specialist will place the blood into a centrifuge machine for about 10 minutes where the plasma is separated from the blood.

This process creates small superficial wounds across the face. During the micro-needling part of the facial, the PRP is applied to the skin.
